Meeting the Parents...

What's worse than your boyfriend getting admitted to the hospital?

Well let me tell you. You're boyfriend getting admitted to the hospital and meeting his parents for the first time ever all in the same afternoon.

I was at work today when Mr Romance had to go to his doctor's appointment with the surgeon that's supposed to do his surgery. Mr Romance was just planning on going in there and them scheduling it. He wasn't expecting the doctor to do what he did. The doctor sent him to the hospital to get admitted and he's going to have surgery in like four or five days. So, Mr Romance calls me and tells me what's going on and I go to the hospital to see him shortly after his call. I was pretty stressed out about it because I definitely didn't see this whole admitting him today thing coming.

The other thing I didn't see coming was the you're meeting my parents today too thing. On a day where I look like shit. I had to be at work pretty early so I had just thrown my hair up in a messy ponytail and wasn't wearing much make up but a little concealer. Of course, I really didn't have time to fret over it since I was/am a little busy worrying about my man. They did seem very nice and very friendly. God only knows what they thought about me though.

I'm off work tomorrow which I'm thankful for and will probably be spending most of my day with Mr Romance at the hospital.
